I just found the plastic caps at Lowe's. They are called "Screw Protectors" and can be found in the vast 'Nuts and Bolts" section. There was a drawer full of different sizes and colors. The #10 fits the Campy pump head feet perfectly. I suspect the smaller sizes would be ideal for the fender stays.
