Dear List,
I have a 71 italcorse Pogliaghi (#9542 - bought it new in 72. I was fortunate to have a colleague rebuild it with a nice Joe Bell paint job.
I have following problem (my colleague recommended I try this list) - we have NOS universal brakes on the bike, sport model. However the reach on the front brakes is to long by about 3 mm. As normal for this period, universal made different sizes for front and back brakes, though it seems that universal 68s with a range of 53mm to 67 should fit. (on the back I need 67mm, while the front needs 57mm reaches)
Some questions for the list:
1. Does the universal sport model come in different sizes? 2. Does anybody have one that covers a reach of 57mm?
