Look on these sellers' auctions:     blingbikesbling .....offering 27"x1" foldable cyclepro (gumwall)

themostobscure ...wire bead 27"x1" carlisle gumwall (made in Japa n)

          possibly Panasonic

I've bought from both and can recommend seller and tire!

I'm at the finishing stages of a couple of rebuilds (not restorations - m ore like "rehabilitations" to clean up & make ridable) and looking for re tro-look (if not NOS/retro) tires in 27" x 1 to 1 1/4 (iSO 630). Continen tal has some in all black (that I'm running on a nice Peugeot UO-8), but I'm having a tough time with basic Google & eBay searches. A couple websi tes listed Michelin World touring tires with tan sidewalls, but all were out of stock. A Hutchinson or Michelin or Wolber (have some of those but in 700c) would be ideal -- I also suppose I could use Kenda's as a last resort but just wouldn't seem the same.

Any one out there have any pointers or stashes? I'm looking for 2 to 3 pa irs (4 to 6 tires).

Thanks!
