Nick and all,

Just what kind of a scam is this person running? Is the bike a copy of a Singer or does it not exist at all?

How does one tell whether a bike like this one is a fake or not?

"This ad looks familiar:

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/bik/830520747.html "

If posting the details of this scam on the list is imprudent, please send me an email privately. I want to know how to detect a scam like this.

Thanks very much.

Regards,
