I have the following for sale to any member who may be interested. A 1980's Columbine frame and fork with a Campagnolo headset and SR Campagnolo braze-on shifters. The serial number on the bottom bracket is the following: ??85428 (I am not sure whether there are one or two digits or alphabetic characters at the beginning. One of the pictures shows this--assuming it's clear enough.) The frame is original paint; the decals are in good shape except the Reynolds 531 is scattered on the seattube. It has the following braze-ons: shifters, rear brake guides, a chain catcher on the right rear drop out, Campagnolo drop-outs with eyelets, two water botttle braze-ons, and braze-on tunnel derailleur guides. It takes "normal" (are they still called that, or are they called "long"?) reach brakes for 700 cm wheels. I ran both 27 inch and 700 in the bike with "normal" reach Suntour Superbe nutted brakes. The seattube measures just short of 23 inches from the center of the bottom bracket to the lowest point in scalloped seattube lug, and it is 22.5 inches cc on the toptube. The rear spacing is 126 mm. The seatpost size is 27.2.

There are several scrapes in the paint. The frame is not pristine but it is still a very nice looking frame and fork. The color is a burgandy, with yellow highlights in the Columbine flowered lug on the headtube-downtube. The headset needs to be redone; either cleaned and greased, or a new one put in; it is noticeably notched.

The frame can be viewed at the following: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/hayesbikes/columbine/

If you have any questions, please ask. The price is $625 plus shipping ($30-60 via Fed-Ex Ground with insurance and signature required). I would prefer Paypal. If no one on the list is interested, I plan to put it on Ebay tomorrow. Thank you for looking.

Cheers.
