Hi all,

I'm cleaning out before moving.

For sale is a 1977 Peugeot PY-10CP with all factory specs. This is the model ridden by Bernard Thevenet in his 1977 TdF victory, as well as by Jaques Esclassan to win the green Jersey in that years TdF.

F&F: 58 x 58 c-c, all 531 - 5/10, only the downtube has 7/10. Nervex lugs, Simplex DO. Fork crown Super-Vitus. HS: Stronglight D6 - Titanium Crank: Stronglight 105bis, 170, 52/42 BB: Stronglight mod. 650 - Titanium, alloy cups Shifters: 1st gen. Simplex retrofriction FD: Simplex SLJA 522 RD: Simplex SLJ 5500 Hubs: Maillard 700, Dural forged STC team issue Rims: Super Champion du Monde Competition Bar: Philippe Proffesional 42cm c-c Stem: Philippe 130mm STC Brakes: Mafac Competition Saddle: Ideale 2002, Titanium rails Seatpost: Simplex SLJ 4164 Pedals: Maillard 700

The bike weighs 17,5 lbs. The bike has been ridden, and has the marks to show it. There are several paint scratches and small rust spots under the top tube cable guides (see pics). It rides like a dream even though it is too small for me. There have been quite a slew of posts concerning this model confiming the ride quality, just delve into the archives. The saddle has scuffs and a previous owner touched them up with a black pen. The frame is straight and without any dents. The rear tubby is flat. All spokes have been tied, making nice stiff wheels. Asking price is $1700 shipped to the US.

I will be glad to answer any and all mails. best, kim
