For whatever it's worth, my experience with those brakes is that the lever body is the same one as on all the older Weinmann brakes. The difference is in the actual level (which is more nicely made), and the rubber lever cover. This cover was actually quite thick and provided the new contour that appeared similar to Campagnolo.

Again, I can always return to "the dungeon", later this evening, to determine whether my recollection is correct.
