My pleasure Alan. A side of the story i didn't mention: At the time (early 80s) it was rumoured that Colnago's sold in the Netherlands were actually painted in Belgium, beacuse of quality problems in Italy. At the same time (as you pointed out) frames appeared that looked like Colnago's, but were something else. Probably made in Belgium. And a bit later Colnago started to use the intricate colour schemes. Anyway, thats what i think happened!
