I found a place like this over 10 years ago but it is guys like this that keep letting these secrets out. Soon everyone will be cruising those local bike shops and I will have to start again and keep my finds secret. Still there is the beer to consider.

Wow, a real dilemma, do I keep going to my LBS for those hard to find gems with the added bonus of beer or do I go on the road looking for another shop and risk the beer. Hmmm! I vote beer.

BTW, not every remaining LBS is as friendly and open as my haunt. I have been asked to leave bike shops for merely opening a discussion on old bikes and parts. Admittedly it is about one in fifteen where this happens. I can't help but think there was someone there before me that left a bad impression of collectors.
