I have two Campy NR cranks. One looks just like the other. On one a standard Park crank extractor threads right in and on the other it's a no-go. Neither crank has threads that look damaged in any way. The Park Website does not list any special extractor for classic Campy cranks. What gives? What is the official thread per inch for these garden variety cranks? Is it different in any way for different years? Is it exactly the same as the Japanese standard for some years but not others?
