Having meant to ask this for ages, I just take the opportunity to chime
in here.
Closeness breeds contempt, or perhaps neglect is a better word. I´ve
used a frame intensively for more than 20 years after buying it new off
the peg in Germany. It has 531, Haden lugs, nice work. It says "Revell
Romany" on it, and I have always wondered who or what Revell cycles were. Any connection to the Romanis sold by Dale?
NB: This is not about plastic toy kits. When using a search engine there are zillions of hits for the toy plane kits blotting out whatever
there might be on the cycles. Yes, I know the search string use of inverted commas as I sometimes play with Basic on my old Apple ][.
