For those of you who are challenged when it comes to humor (ie. all you Germans), when I used the term "shill", I was acting strictly on my own account. It was purely my beer- induced philanthropic effort to "help the cause". I in no way intended to implicate Pergolizzi, nor anyone of his affiliates or assigns, nor anyone else involved with Operation Smile.
Thanks again Pergolizzi! I look forward to the next auction. If I start throwing out wild bids, check to see if my speech is slurred before you bid!

BTW. I was thrilled that said frame was in fact a Basso and not a D'Arienzo. Especially since, I, nor anyone else there, even heard of a D'Arienzo.
Now, I still haven't figured out just what the heck the all-chrome frame, stickered as a Guerciotti, was that I bought at the same auction. I don't think Guerciottis used an english bottom bracket, did they?
