Dearest list, Long time ago, at 16 years of age, I couldn't afford much. I needed to build my own wheels and a truing stand was NOT gonna happen. So, I built my own! I scronged around the house and came up with a slotted on one side piece of 2x4, a couple a shelf "L" brackets, some aluminum "L" channel, a bolt and wing nut, some screws, and a bent coat hanger. Trued a lot o wheels on that bad boy. Wish I still had her. Also did a saddle height tool using a flat wooden stick w/ a trammel point end fitted into a drilled in the center Campy crank arm remover. A carpenters square on top; this thing is primo to keep things equal among all bikes. Still got this one. Favorite is the saddle setback plumb bob made out of yellow string and a worn through (yea, daylight) cone from a set of Cinelli rollers. Boy they sure made a lot of noise!
