Dear Mark,

I know I cannot make up for the the rudeness of others but, as a person o n the receiving end of similar kindnesses from this list and the MG Car Clu b ('52 MG TD/C), I sincerely hope you have the patience to await the return of your bread on the waters of life. One time, in central Jersey (US) I s aw a RB rider walking along the road pushing a bike with no (apparent) sadd le. LSS, I took apart one of my seat posts to replace his lost bolt. Becaus e of the rarity of that bolt, my ride was out of commission for more than a month (replaced at an old-time shop in Westerly, R.I.). It was NOT my only ride (far from it), so the cost was low, but I had given this fellow conta ct information (a card) and he, obviously, lost it.
