Seventeen list members have responded so far to my request for a show of hands of those interested in buying new 1" pitch chain. I'm writing to report that there's nothing yet to report! The bicycle shop allegedly placing the special order is in Australia. The owner of the shop apparently doesn't know about the internet or use email, so I've been leaving phone messages for him asking for more details with no reply so far.
I hope I haven't raised people's hopes only to have them drowned in the vastness of the Pacific Ocean. I will report again as soon as I have any information. I have saved all of your messages, even if I haven't responded personally to each one. If an order is in the offing (odd expression) I will confirm details, quantities, etc. with each person individually.
