Did I mention that no-one on the L'Eroica ride wanted it to end? Well, maybe the 205 Km riders did. http://www.flickr.com/photos/8210984@N06/2924326769/ All the riders I saw on the short course were out for fun.

Wave upon wave of teams rode past us ... in team kit. When someone flatted, all stopped to help or enjoy the view or take pictures. http://www.flickr.com/photos/8210984@N06/2924332743/

Flats on tubulars were plentiful. Support vehicles were around to help if needed. A few asked the Mrs. if she needed help as she jogged up some hills. http://www.flickr.com/photos/8210984@N06/2924330117/

The food stop was great. They served all kinds of goodies plus water or wine. A few riders dumped their water and filled up their bottles with wine. Sorry, I won't mention any names. http://www.flickr.com/photos/8210984@N06/2924336817/

Some old-timers rode as well. One guy was 87 and on a modern wonderbike, but appropriately dressed. http://www.flickr.com/photos/8210984@N06/2924334441/
