I too felt that stuff was too expensive for me, for the most part. Some very interesting piles of goodies from Mel Pinto's stash as well as Alan Bernstein's. If you needed Aero era bits to complete a project, that swap space was golden.

I did get a project Carlton frame from Sam Fitzsimmons that had a special surprise. It came with a Stronglight 3 pin crank that had a mish-mosh of chainring bolts. One happened to be a 4mm TA that I really needed to complete a set that was missing one from a previous T-town purchase years ago.

Sam also had an amazing scrapbook that he just picked up with very cool photos of early track racers and race programs.

One vendor was selling the stash of a friend that passed away. The proceeds were going to be split amongst the seller, the widow and his bike club. I spend a good amount there on NOS DuraAce and Suntour freewheels and other niceties.

A different vendor had a good selection of $5 derailleurs and $10 hubs. I got an excellent Huret Jubilee front and while I was scrounging in a junk box under the table, he said "if you see anything in there you could use, take it" I found quite a bit. Nice Simplex brake cable clips, other Simplex and Mafac stuff stripped off some bike and Modolo brake levers, old Sturmey trigger etc.

I ended up with a large Witcomb frame for $15 that needs some TLC, oh and a fork too.

And, Taliah Lempert had fresh stock of Dave Perry's Bike Works jerseys. I picked up a pair for Rita and myself.

It was good to see everybody.
