Hi there,

I have a submission please for Classicrendezvous digest:

Dating and identifying 1967/68 frame, probably Colnago

I have recently bought a frame which seems most likely to be a Colnago but the markings are a little unusual. It belonged to Andre Desvage and it is the frame, forks and stem he used in the 1968 Tour de France. It has the familiar large C stamped on the frame and forks but instead of clubs there are diamonds in the middle, the same logo is also stamped on the front of the stem. I will happily send photos to anyone interested in helping me identify and date the frame.

many thanks,

Mark Bobb London UK
