There are actually two different styles of seat post binder on Legnanos.Â
    The first is where there is a slot in the seat lug and a short way down
   the seat tube.  This is clamped up by a simple bolt, 8mm I think, tha t is just scooped out a bit for clearance round the seat post.  The ot her deisgn is for the unslotted seat lug, more usually on the Gran Premio, which has a larger hole and the binder consists of two tubular wedges tight ened up by the nut and bolt running through them - Sorry I don't have one t o photograph.  The first wedge goes under the bolt head; the bolt is i nserted through the hole in the seat lug so that the wedge bears against th e seat post; the second wedge is placed over the bolt and inserted so that it bears on the other side of the seat post; finally the nut is installed a nd tightened so that it squeezes the wedges against the seat post, locking it all in place.  It is self-evident that the OD of the wedges is a cl earance fit
   in the hole in the seat lug, and the ID is a clearance fit over the bolt, which is probably 6mm. Hugh Thornton Cheshire, England
