I did not keep up with all of Fred Parr's messages but it certainly seemed to me that he had become increasingly erratic in his messages and claims. I am not sure if he was joking or having some difficulty. A few fellows mentioned he had domestic problems that troubled him... I hope he is well and happy, he brought a lot of passion into the frame building scene and motivated many people with his good intentions.

I was under the impression that some of Fred Parr's posts were intended as April Fool's jokes, rather than based on actual facts. Certainly his reminiscences of what his father told him about working with Rene Herse in Paris fell into that category. They did not match what my other sources have said about Herse.? ?
