So I would say the change happened between 1983 and 1984 but SLX was being used before, So until 1984 we had drilled lugs and 26.2 post .After that point they used a 27.2 seatpost and undrilled lugs This is good information for the archives BOB FREITAS MILL VALLEY, CA USA
