Unfortunately, business and decency are nowadays mostly antinomical. Regard ing the particular book in question, I haven't the foggiest idea, because I 'm not even remotely interested in a book on Campagnolo.

Ethics or not, if you (eg any of us) puts pics on his website, they will be
copied by somebody, somewhere. Copying our stuff to print for sale  i s another matter altogether, and if you work on researching, scanning, impr oving, presenting material and somebody lifts it for commercial usage witho ut proper fully explicit and binding written and signed consent, they are c ommiting thievery. And are liable for damages in court. At the very least a
costly (very) suspension of sales until such time as a court came to a dec ision. French courts I believe are generally more sympathetic than US court s. This is not a statement about the book under discussion, which I have not l ooked at. Nick March, Agen, 47000 Lot-et-Garonne, France.
