Subject: [CR]Leather bar tape...darned expensive, isn't it?

If those interested in some of the leather bar tape I used to get years ago would write me so that I can gauge interest, I will order some more if there is sufficient interest. It comes from an Amish Harness Shop and one can see photos of it used on some of my bikes on the Wool Jersey site. I cannot say how much it will cost, my guess is less than $40 + shipping per set.but I can't be sure until I place the order. It has the advantage of being very heavy duty (making it a bit challenging to wrap with) and giving a nice "padded" feeling to one's hands. It has a skivered of chamfered edge, too. It is longer than commercial wrap, too, as far as I know. As an aside, I once asked the son of the Harness Shop owner just how long the strips would be and he replied that they would be as long as the cow, and he couldn't do better than that!

I basically run this as not for profit venture so your patience and good will is not only requested but necessary for me to do this much work. It comes in brown, black and a honey that is close to Brooks, but may require some work on your part to get it just the color you need. I have tips on file for both the color and wrapping things, which I will offer buyers upon request.
