  I should feel fortunate, I was charged $40 for one complete fork and $5 0.00 for another complete fork.  I am leaning toward purchasing the Caswe ll mini plating kit to do those really small parts myself.  If you cant f ind replacement brake holder nuts for the Campy brakes, you might as well l ook towards re-plating them.  (Damn, I am tired of receiving rusty stuff) .    BT

I (and others) have used a local place here in Kensington, MD. I forget na me but is something sorta like Metropolitan Plating(?). I have a stem that ne eds chrome redo that I am taking in in the next week or so.

NOTE: this is the time of year to do it so as to avoid all the bikers gett ing ready for their Spring shows!

Glad to include yours in my order. Price - I expect to get charged circa $ 50 for rechroming a vintage British chrome stem.
