FYI, Although I did not make it this year I just got a report from my friend, Marc, whom some of you met last year, who did the 135KM again this year. He said that the event has grown even larger and that the swap on Saturday was much larger than last years. Lots of bikes, parts, and jerseys for sale. Irio Tommasini was, of course, there. Whether was very very cold for the early starters (2 degrees Celsius) and it apparently rained on the riders who did the shorter routes.
Marc said that there seemed to be very few Americans this year but he did see one CR tee shirt. You British, however, seemed to have turned out in large numbers.
Next year in Gaiole. I hope. :)
