Thanks to those who responded. I just needed a bit more leverage using a long arm socket wrench and that puppy just loosened right up. -Bruce

Hi folks, I have the most stubborn lock nut on my Campagnolo road pedal that I am trying to overhaul. Anyone have any tricks to free it up? There isn't any rust or anything that would seem to make it bind other than 25 years of being left alone. I tried slightly tightening the pedal axle cone hoping that would free up the lock nut, but still no luck. Neither the cone nor the lock nut will budge.

Thanks,

Bruce
