[CR]Seeking parts contributions for a "Tribute to frame builder"

Dear friends:

I am not mentioning a name because we hope to maybe keep this a secret (? I think he has an alert when his name pops up on the Internet... I do not think he is currently a CR member.) Go look at the frame set if you are wondering...

?This is a distinguished gentleman, a legendary frame builder who has the respect and admiration of the? traditional crafted bicycle cognoscenti as well as many contemporary builders. He thoroughly charmed us all at the Greensboro Cirque events, driving up from South Carolina where he has retired & pursues his writing. But he laments in his blog that he never retained one of his signature frames from-the-day. We want to fix that! ??

Lorin Youde of?Carlsbad, California started the ball rolling with this whole idea, and his discovery of and full donation (!) of a fabulous frame set. (my pics, taken this week, are here:? http://tinyurl.com/3wjpxm )

Lorin sent me the frame, plus a Turbo perfo saddle, Cinelli stem & bars.

I then cosmetically touched it up, and then added NR shifters, SR front derailleur, SR headset and a nice NOS! set of Campag NR wheels with Ambrosia hard ano tubular rims.

We are still missing: - SR seat post 27.2 - SR rear der - SR cranks & BB (Brit thread)? - SR/NR brakeset

The parts need not be new, just "presentable".? :)

Let me know if you can help, tell me what you have (to avoid duplicates) send the parts to me at the shop. ? I will complete the bike, take more pictures and then ship it to the hopefully surprised recient with a note it's from his "fans". We'd like to do this in 30 days... ?? (Help!)
