They are a pain to install a saddle on if you don't have the right tool (offset box end ratchet) but I install a saddle and adjust tilt maybe once every five years and can't really imagine why one would do it much more frequently than that on any given bike. And once set up, the two bolt design is as good as it gets. In 35 years I've never had one slip, lose adjustment, squeak or give even the slightest hint of a problem.
