Bruce,

I did not mean to imply that the bike was not rideable. I just think that the stem/headset adjustment, while supremely elegant, might be considered less than ideal if you have to overhaul the headset the night before a ride.

As you know, Bicycle Quarterly is quite critical when we think something is not much good. And your bike was featured without criticism...
