Modern bike weights are usually quoted without pedals, I'd think a vintage lightweight might get under 19 lbs without pedals. Pedals, toeclips, and straps probably add up to close to a pound.

that's a really cool PY-10, but I think no bike in the on-topic era weighed less than 19 lbs in its production configuration. In fact, the catalogue page you display on wooljersey actually says (9-9.5 kg), which would be 19.8 - 20.9 lbs.

Can ANY CR members name an on-topic catalogue bike that tipped the scales in the 18 lbs range ?? That's an interesting question for the list.
