On page 12 of this new publication is an image of an 1899 Eagle Quad Stay
bicycle, under the heading " An English Model". The photographic source is listed as  "collezione Gino Cervi, courtesy Gino Cervi, Milan" Gin o Cervi is the editor of this book. First, the Eagle Quad Stay is of Americ an manufacture, not English. Second, the image was captured from my websi te and can be seen at the link below. I have the original image which
is a newspaper advertisement that I scanned and used on the website. I
am fairly certain the image in the book was taken from my website as there
is a smudge in the published image that is identical to the smudge on th e original image I have. (Smudge is located between the seat tube and rear wheel). Please pardon my bitch and moan but a photographic credit would 've been nice. http://theracingbicycle.com/Early_History.html Jay Van De Velde Seal Beach,CA
