Here's an interesting Schwinn track bike, unfortunately repainted in 1960s/70s livery. I asked the seller what components are original. Perhaps he'll add his answer to the listing.

As David noted, the decals are not at all the original style. The Brooks saddle has the more recent "keystone" flank stamp, while the late 30s bikes should have an oval stamping. The pix do not show details of the hubs, but they are clearly small-flange hubs. I just checked my stash of catalogue stuff, and find no indications of a low-flange Paramount hub, although that seems to have been characteristic of the Superior. I believe that the Superior used a different diameter for its cog threading, too.
It does seem to have a proper roller chain. Can't tell if it has the Paramount chain length adjusters or not. Has the same seat top "eyes" as my '38.
Of course, my '38 has its imperfections, too: neither the rims nor the stem of mine are real Paramount equipment.
I will not bid on this bike; one pre-1940 Paramount is all I need or want, and I've had mine over 30 years. but, I do enjoy riding mine.
