It would be interesting if a test session was written up somewhere.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ A number of years ago, a similar, smaller Cinelli w. Altenberger components came to Cirque two years in a row. Condition was worse than even my bottom-feeder standards, but I've always found the lateral derailleurs interesting. In addition to Altenberger and Suntour, Chuck Harris used this approach (if I recall correctly). If anyone has a spare Altenberger or Suntour, I'd love to hear about it.

Did you notice how Altenberger carried the overlapping circles design motif everywhere possible? Even the plunger-style fd, and the holds in the hub flanges. BTW, I couldnt' tell, but suspect that these are the early dual pivot Altenberger brakes, which work fine.

I'm not bidding on this bike, and don't know the owner.
