Jon- THANKS for your posting! Based on Kevin's post, I wasn't even going to look at this bike. After visiting that auction, I looked at the pics a couple times and pulled the trigger. I can't believe no one bought this bike before me- it seems to only be missing the correct crank. The seller sez that the rear der is Campagnolo "Suntour", but probably Super Record; the post, shifters and brake levers all are correct. If the calipers are panto'd, that would be great. For what it's worth, the frame looks very clean under the dust.

I was going to put in an offer since the seller was entertaining them, but it's too early in the AM and surely someone would have beaten me to it with a BIN. With insurance, my total cost is $902.

I'll have to sell a few things to finance this purchase- perhaps a middle-sized Fuji Mark Gorski "Signature" track frame, a 60's Schroder track bike, or a Croll track bike...

Date is off by a few years don't you think (approx imately 16 years off === LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!!!)??? Here's the auction address, or item #370109810636:"

A ridiculous ad from one of those horrible drop-off stores. But it is a rare '83 Super Leggera and still has a lot of the important panto bits left. Although the crank, front der, and wheels are switched. Too bad these places can't be trusted to assess condition and pack properly or this would be a good one to consider. Any locals should go check it out, that could be a damn nice Bianchi hiding in that rancid ad. Too risky for a sight unseen buy for me, and both my "low but fair" offers
were rejected.
