Hello all,

Some clarification on the DHL situation. A friend of mine owns three DHL routes. Effective immediately, they will only ship domestic in North America if the sender has an account. As of January 30, 2009 domestic operations in North America will cease.

Mike's suggestion here is intriguing - if impractical. However - fwiw, with some regularity (minimum once a month), I transport boxes in a cargo van from the Harrisburg, PA area to Secaucus, NJ, and also make the return trip. If this route of transport would help any list members move bicycles, frames, wheels, (or other items that have become prohibitively expensive to ship) to a destination, I'd be glad to oblige. You could be assured all articles would be handled with care. Standing offer - please contact off-list.

Until Starfleet privatizes their operations, using the transporter beam for pizza and bicycle delivery will remain a distant dream. (sigh)

Wishing a good day to all,
