Subject: [CR]Campy Shifter Lever Mods?

I recently made my first attempt at modifying a Campagnolo downtube shift l ever, inspired by other such modifications that I have seen (bending, d rilling, milling, polishing, annodizing, pantographing, etc.).I t hink the spark that ignited my interest was a 70's De Rosa I saw at Larz a couple of years ago, owned by a prominent Boston area collector. The lef t side (front) shift lever had been curved to allow the rider to more easil y reach over the top-tube to shift the front changer with the right hand. W ay cool! Below is a link to pics of my lever, curved and re-profiled for use on a single-sided clamp-on shifter. While it vaguely looks like a piec e of 70's drug paraphranelia, I am pretty pleased with the results. If y ou have any pics of similar mods, please send 'em along!http://www.woolje rsey.com/gallery/v/Devotion/Parts_Mods/Matthew BowneBrooklyn, New York _________________________________________________________________ Get 5 GB of storage with Windows Live Hotmail. http://windowslive.com/Explore/Hotmail?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_hotmail_acq_5gb_ 112008
