I posted a couple of months ago about a nice white Schwinn Paramount f rameset that suffered from the rear drive side dropout, lower insert breaking loose, and that I had taken it to Matt Assenmacher's shop in Swartz Creek, MI for repair. Matt did the repair wonderfully, truly "as original". The results can be seen on auction at Ebay, as the frame and fork have been listed, and scheduled to end this Sunday night.
Auction link is: http://tinyurl.com/
This is a 1975 Paramount P-13 road racing model (no fender eyelets) with matching frame and fork steer tube serial numbers: C75100. Seat tube measures ~57cm c-c, 120mm rear wheel spacing, English threading (of course) and chrome on the long dropouts, and fork tips.
Matt used a wet "cloth" technique to keep the dropout from getting too hot while doing the repair, so the close proximity chrome remained undamaged ... well done! He then repainted just the dropout and part of the adjoining seat and chain stays, and the color is just slightly off. The last three pics on the auction page show the rear of the frame, after the repair, but the other pics were taken prior to the work being done. At least one of the photos gives a bit of a view to the original crack around the attachment point.
If you would like to see more photos of the bike, or the ones posted, and
better views of the original cracked seam, all in larger format, they can be
viewed at my Wool Jersey space here:

There was a "Suntour Equipped" decal placed on the seat tube, that clearly didn't "belong" there, and it has been completely removed, with no ill effect.
Please check out a few other items I also have listed, including an absolutely beautiful set of Cinelli Campione del Mondo, old logo bars that are 44cm o-o (42cm c-c), 1980s Campagnolo Super Record brake calipers, and a used but sturdy Patent 1970 Nuovo Record rear derailleur. Thanks...
