OK, at the risk of exposing my ignorance, which I seem to do on a regular ba sis anyway, I must ask a couple of questions about this.

What is so rare or desirable about this shifter?

Does the fact that it is made of bronze have a bearing on the price? Were th ey only made of bronze for a day or two?

Just curious. Now I'm going to spend the day going through my old stuff and everyone else's that I can get my hands on.
