oil, proofhide, etc.)Check the archives for "Brooks modification" or s
omething to that effect...There will be lots of info (and perhaps some pics
) on techniques used to "re-profile" and modify the shape. I am no Ottusi
, but have tried my hand (starting with a $5 find of my own) at trimming
down some leather saddles and have been pleased with the results. I have a
