Bob and list, I can say with some certainty that this is NOT a Gios. BSC threading would be the first clue, the craftsmanship looks nothing like the many Gios' that I have seen. The seat stay caps are too fat, and the dropout finishing isn't consistent with others. The decals are not sixties at all. I would guess them to be mid to late '70's or early '80's. The last thing that makes me think it's a fake, is that the head tube decal appears to be cleared (heavily). I never met a factory Gios Super Record that had any clear over the decals. It still looks like some sort of vintage bike, though, and not a bad buy at $30 ;) Keith

Anyone else but me think this is not likely a Gios? English threads for starters, and the braze-ons are all wrong for 60s.
