Profil A rims used an internal hex head nippleĀ  that sat in a shaped p lastic or aluminium washer, not unlike the Araya Aero 1. David Benson Auckland, NZ

Today I opened what was supposed to be a pair of Wolber Profile 18 rims, what I have are Profile A rims which look like an early Aero track rim ( no braking surface). The spoke holes in the rims are quiet small ( big enough for a 2.0 (14ga) spoke ). I would guess the spoke nipple is seated inside the rim? Does anyone know what kind of spoke nipples the Profile A rim used? Pictures? have any idea where I might find any?

thank you, Marty Eison Frisco, Texas
