To the Brave;

It just hit 40 degrees on the thermometer in the sun against the house and the sun broke, grabbed full winter gear and backpack aired up the tires and jumped on the Austria Steyr for my winter ride. Brisk winter wind out of the west with 15 to 20 mile blasts once in a while. Bike is fully set up for winter with tri gear and fenders metal chrome fatter tires with less air inner tubes wrapped around the frame for when all the winter junk gets on it and two sets of lights one batteries and one set generator. Trail always looks much better in early winter not many people on thanksgiving and winter wind pushing me up I knew it was going to be a bit breezy on the way back. No deer anywhere today one muscrat only much peace on the whole trip. A bit tough on the way back for the single gear was a challenge. Wind whipping over the trees with just a little leave noise. Bike is super comfortable with long top bar nice padding on handle bars pipe insulation with hockey tape keeps hands warm and takes out much shock. Tri gear is manual but it is in the easiest gear so easy cruising. Has nice rack for winter utilizing an old ESGE rear plate on rear stays takes care of rack, fender, and brake. Nice! Taller mountain bike bar stem for added bar comfort. 30 miles enjoyed instead of watching football. Came home warm. Happy Thanksgiving!!!
