Coolio's,

With very few options for sourcing MA2's or classic profile clincher rims downunder (Velocity Razor's look too modern) I plan to undertake finding the most caustic chemicals they will sell me without alarming the authorities. I've seen a few things stripped (like stems, cranks etc) and then polished up but am wondering if the hard anodized Mavic MA40's might be a little harder to similarly transform and would like to hear if anybody has tried and succeeded doing the same. Tips and tricks greatly appreciated.

The rims will be built up to complete a bike that was made prior to the MA40 anodized era. Gotta be clincher's (aka high pressures).

thanks

ciao,
