Actually, I think it's a good bit earlier, like circa '61 (plus/minus). Remember green "flam" on a fifties Legnano, for example, means something different than the green flam on a UO-8.... I see: a (nicely attached) dropout with integral hanger (hanging a simply anachronistic later-versi on Alvit), a really nice Stronglight chainset ("Competition" model, yes? ), beautiful bars and stem, by Titan, as discussed. Nervex lugs obviousl y, per the transfer on the downtube. Under the add-on reflectors and so on, it's mid-fifties racing spec all the way. That Alvit is not the orig inal derailleur.... In the context of an earlier era, the "flamboyant" ( metallic) paint is pretty fancy actually, and those appear to be "real" chrome panels, not the foil stickers one might suspect were it of circa '70 manufacturing. And while the luglining is a bit blunt, that all-over boxlining is nice. Kudos to the continent once again. Start subtracting bits and the machine reveals itself something of a con tender after all.
