I have several Ti Brooks, but like someone else commented earlier, I also h ave too many bikes and don't ride any one enough to have fully tested the d urability of the Ti rails.  All my Ti railed Brooks are either Swifts or B17's.  I frankly haven't heard of that many failures of Brooks Ti rails.   Jan seems to be one of the few list members who actually rides a single saddle enough miles in a realtively short time to test the durability.  His opionion seems to be that one's will likely wear out the leather before the Ti rails will come close to failing.

I think the Brooks is ok, if used with a sensible seatpost and not overloaded with hamburgers and doughnuts.

Avoid the Dutch Lepper Ideale at all cost, nice guys but they didn't have any clue!
