Lyotard Marcel Berthet steel platform pedals.  These were made from the 3 0's into the 80's.  Totally appropriate for track, as Marcel Berthet hims elf is most famous for trading World Hour Records with Oscar Egg.

i have pair of stronglight 49d piste cranks with english pedal threads.

i'm looking for some suggestions as to what pedals might close to 'period-correct' with these cranks on a mid to late 60s british track iron or road/path racer.

of course, TA piste pedals come to mind, as do campag pista, but i'm wondering what else to consider. lyotard? bueller? anyone?

i'm thinking that most of the classic british pedals like chater lea would be a bit too early, yes?

thanks in advance.
