I belive that Brian Baylis's masterfully done recreations are discreetly bu t indellibly identified as such. Is the Ephgrave recreation?

I think this ought to be described as a "Replica."
This approach is similar to 3 beautiful exercises in craftwork I have seen made by Brian Baylis (2 replicating Colnago and 1 of Masi). This is a lovingly produced acknowledgment and tribute to the style, form and materials of a classic model...
