There are ebay seller with stashes of NOS Sachs chains, loose packed, including some called SCM55. They really are long wearing, very quiet, and are made with tooling that stamps the plates "France." I believe these became SRAM PC48 or PC58. Riding cannot be lovely without quiet chain. May I retain my hearing to be able to tell the difference.
