I have to agree with Eddie. I raced against Gus Gatto in the early '50's and don't think he raced into '56 but don't know for sure. Doesn't sound like a guy getting ready to stop competing around that time would buy a Cinelli dated to that year. Gus was always a Paramount guy but his time is into the maybe late '30's and thru 40's into earlier '50's. I also raced against his younger brother Richie in the San Francisco 6-day back in '51 but remember him having Paramounts also. I'd ask for provenance before paying premium for other than bike value.
