Dear List, Rode up to La Jolla today on the 1947 Camille Daudon. It's been a while, but she sure was fun! Showed her off at California Bicycle in L.J. Then meet a couple on a recumbent tandem and they took me home up a moderately long hill to Hillcrest instead of the sprinter's route of Pacific Coast Hiway. Got to use the suicide front changer and she worked like a charm. This bike belonged to Spence Wolf of Cupertino Bike Shop and Peter Johnson finally got his hands on her after years of lusting at her in the shop's window. I managed to sweet talk Peter outta her 5 years ago and have only ridden her a few times since. She is COOL! And the matching ladies biuke is Sally's! What did youse guys ride today?
